Peryer Construction is owned and operated by Bill and Jan Peryer. 
With over 20 years experience in the construction industry Peryer Construction has a proven track record as Main Contractor spanning the light commercial, industrial, educational and accommodation sectors of the construction industry.
Within these sectors are projects that involve:-

- Extensive seismic structural strengthening projects

Peryer Construction has extensive experience in the building industry with particular expertise in overall coordination involved in the Main Contractor role. Peryer Construction strives to provide consistent satisfaction and service to all our clients. Bill Peryer believes in not only building physical structures, but also building relationships with our clients based on honesty and integrity.
Peryer Construction currently has a work force of 30 personnel, consisting of qualified tradesman carpenters, contract managers, site foremen, hammer-hands, labourers, 4 carpentry cadets, all of whom are supported by 4 fulltime management and administrative personnel.
Management and administrative support is directed from our company offices situated at Unit 8/110 Whakatiki Street, Upper Hutt. Whakatiki St is a main arterial route off the River Road main highway with Peryer Construction’s building easily identified at the corner of Whakatiki & Masefield Sts, the smart 2-storey office building and storage facility is a prominent and welcomed addition to the commercial and industrial zone of this area.
Peryer Construction’s resources and systems allow coordination and operation of several contracts concurrently, throughout the greater Wellington region as far north as Otaki. Every contract has a designated Site Foreman and carpentry team to ensure consistency and ownership by the site team in their individual projects, from the commencement of the contract through to final completion, maintenance and compliance periods.
The majority of contracts undertaken by Peryer Construction range from refurbishment of educational facilities, construction of aged-care facilities, commercial interior fit-outs, commercial retail complexes, to construction of light to medium industrial building contracts. |

Peryer Construction considers the success of any project hinges on the project personnel involved.
We allocate specific foreman and managers to control the various projects based on, and in consideration of their proven performance, coordination skills, experience and understanding of the demands to meet the tight timeframes and budget constraints that are an integral part of any contract.

| As Director and owner of Peryer Construction, Bill is the figure head of the company with overall responsibility for the performance and management of Peryer Construction. His role, on a day-to-day basis is dominated by tendering and management duties. Bill’s advanced trade qualifications, extensive knowledge of the building industry and pro-active management style provides a solid base for honest and informative working relationships with clients and project personnel. Bill has a pro-active, hands-on approach to site management and client liaison to ensure Peryer Construction maintains their focus to provide quality of workmanship and programme performance to deliver a hassle-free result for our clients and project personnel alike. |

| JAN PERYER - Company Administration & Property Manager |
| Jan has the overall responsibility for the company’s financial reporting, human resources, payroll and office systems, H&S management, credit control, and supplier contact. Jan oversees the procedures for tendering of projects, set-up of new contracts from site documentation to final compliance to ensure these are compiled, distributed and acted upon in a timely manner. Jan offers administrative support to the Manager’s and Site Foreman to assist and maintain the efficient operation of site documentation in a busy office environment. Jan is also responsible for the management of the company’s investment properties, tenancy leases and issues. |

| JUDITH LAWRENCE - Accounts Administrator |
| Judith is responsible for the in-house accounting and financial reporting on our computerized accounting and payroll systems. This involves day to day data entry, creditor accounts and bank reconciliations, PAYE and GST tax returns and the AP & AR functions. She is responsible for the company’s telecommunication and computer systems and liaises with company suppliers and accounting professionals. Judith also provides secretarial and administrative support where required. Judith is a professional and integral part of the management team. |

| LES WILLIAMS - Contracts Manager |
| Les has extensive product knowledge and experience in the construction industry. His role in our company is primarily a management and communication liaison between the construction site and office, reporting both to Bill and attending Architects & Project Managers. Les works pro-actively to ensure all construction sites run smoothly by attending scheduled site meetings, overseeing sub-contract performance, health and safety systems, and importantly to ensure programme timelines, maintenance and completion deadlines are successfully achieved. Les is an integral part of our project performance team and management support. |

| Peryer Construction’s workforce includes many lead Foreman/Site Managers, all of whom have been in our company for several years. Our Managers have been selected in these roles because we have full confidence in their performance, extensive experience in the building industry and in our internal systems and quality of workmanship standards. They have proven their ability to meet the demands and time-frames necessary to satisfy our clients and respective project management teams. |
